The project was initially launched to explore the relationship between photography and drawing in responding to the question ‘what makes photography an art form?’, with inspiration by artist Brian Lai. The inverted approaches, to sketch the portraits in negative that has led to a different observation, as a training process, at the same time photographing the picture with negative film and the final work will be revealed positive only via a scanned image.

Personally, the observation of the object would become harder and more challenging for sure, and still, every time I was surprised when I received the final image by looking into the film, it was a funny job to do and hope you enjoy the work as much as I did.
